Hand-Carved Boat-Shaped Wooden Decorative Vessel with Metal Overlays

A hand-carved wooden decorative vessel featuring an elongated hexagonal central bowl. The interior of the bowl displays an incised central sunburst motif encircled by a scalloped border. The object is fashioned with stylised figural terminals at either end. One terminal is carved to represent a face with a linear crest and a prominent ridge nose, flanked by triangular panels of embossed metal sheet secured with small tacks. The opposite end tapers into a curved handle decorated with matching metal overlays. The hardwood is finished with a dark stain throughout. A printed label on the base reads Handcrafted in Ghana.
