A Collection of Decorative Porcelain Collector's Plates Featuring Kitten Illustrations

A collection of circular porcelain plates, each decorated with a transfer-printed scene depicting kittens in various domestic and garden settings. The illustrative style is characteristic of sentimental collectible series produced in the late 20th century. One plate features the printed signature of artist Pam Cooper in the lower right area of the scene. The designs include kittens among flowers such as pansies and daisies, kittens observing a goldfish bowl, a tabby kitten reflected in an oval mirror, and ginger kittens positioned on a tree branch. Each plate is finished with a narrow gilded rim. The items are currently fitted with wire spring-tension hangers for wall display. This series resembles works produced for the Danbury Mint or similar collectible porcelain manufacturers.
