Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive, Complete in Box

A complete-in-box (CIB) copy of the video game Sonic the Hedgehog, published by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. for the 16-bit Mega Drive console. The lot includes the original black plastic clamshell case with a printed paper cover inlay, the instruction manual, and the game cartridge. This is a PAL European multi-language release, with the reverse of the inlay featuring game descriptions in eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, and Finnish. The cover art and cartridge label feature the original 1991 character design for Sonic. The reverse of the inlay is marked with the copyright notice 1991 SEGA ENTERPRISES, LTD. Made in Malaysia and the product code 670-1470-50S. The interior of the case is embossed with the Sega logo and SEGA ENTERPRISES LTD. A vintage retail price sticker of £9.99 remains attached to the case hanging tab.
