This collection consists of several items of British military origin and personal effects dating to the mid-20th century. The primary piece is a 1937 Pattern webbing small pack or haversack, constructed from khaki-green canvas with steel buckles. The light-coloured canvas shoulder strap features handwritten ink markings reading Batt. 1943 and C.890, indicating a manufacture date of 1943. Also included is a British-made Ensign folding pocket camera, featuring a black metal body with an oval Ensign logo and an associated brown canvas and leather carrying pouch.
