Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Oval Wall Mirror

An early 20th-century oval wall mirror, likely of British origin and dating from the Edwardian period. The frame is constructed from mahogany and features neoclassical-style marquetry, including a single band of dark stringing and a decorative chequered barber pole inlaid border along the outer edge. The mirror is designed for horizontal suspension and retains its original solid timber backing board, which is fitted with D-ring attachments and a hanging wire. Three modern rectangular adhesive inventory labels are present on the reverse.
