A Collection of Vintage Sheffield Stainless Steel Cutlery Sets and a Vemi Serving Tray

This lot comprises an assortment of vintage mid-20th-century cutlery and serving pieces. Included is a rectangular polished metal serving tray featuring a central etched floral motif of lilies and a Vemi manufacturer label. A two-piece carving set consists of a stainless steel roast slicer and a carving fork with rosewood handles, housed in its original illustrated box. A seven-piece pastry set includes six cake forks and a matching server, all with embossed floral handles, presented in a box decorated with gilt zodiac symbols. The collection further includes several boxed sets of knives with cream-coloured composite handles and stainless steel blades. One set of knives is marked for Sheffield, England, and another set features blades with curved tips, also marked for Sheffield manufacture.
