A Collection of Ten Die-cast Model Buses and Coaches by Dinky Toys and Matchbox

This collection of ten die-cast model vehicles includes a variety of vintage and modern buses and coaches primarily manufactured by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) and Matchbox (Lesney). The Dinky Toys selection features a No. 291 Leyland Atlantean in red with a white upper band and Crawford’s Cream Crackers advertising, a No. 290 Leyland Double Deck Bus in green and brown with Exide Batteries livery, and a further Leyland Double Deck Bus in green and cream. Also included are a No. 282 Duple Roadmaster Leyland Royal Tiger coach in red with a black roof, a grey Observation Coach, and two Single Deck Buses in green colourways. The Matchbox series is represented by a No. 66 Greyhound Coach in silver-grey with running dog decals and a No. 2 London Bus open-top model with Dewar’s advertising. The group is completed by a modern licensed Dinky reproduction single deck coach in red with Blackpool X70 destination, likely an Atlas Editions release, featuring a plastic base marked Made in China. All models are unboxed and constructed from die-cast metal with various plastic and metal components.
