A Collection of Vintage Action Man Clothing and Accessories
Description
This collection of vintage action figure attire is manufactured by Action Man. The assortment includes a dark blue fabric flight suit featuring orange side stripes on the sleeves and legs, fitted with a central metal zipper mechanism. Also included is a plain dark blue fabric jumpsuit with a central metal zipper. The lot further contains two olive drab green military-style field jackets, each featuring four front pockets and small white plastic button closures. Accompanying the textiles is a selection of olive green moulded plastic components, appearing to be parts of a harness, belt, or field equipment set. A white woven fabric label is present on the interior collar of the plain blue jumpsuit, bearing the text MADE IN HONG KONG and ACTION MAN. These items are characteristic of the 1960s and 1970s production periods by Palitoy under license from Hasbro.
Condition report:
The items are in vintage, played-with condition. The fabric clothing shows visible signs of age and wear, including fraying to the hems, cuffs, and collars. Several buttons on the field jackets appear loose or missing. The metal zippers on the jumpsuits appear intact but have not been tested for smooth operation. The plastic accessories show minor surface scuffing consistent with age.
