Church Lads Brigade Bronze Service Medal with 1913 Clasp

A Church Lads Brigade service medal of Maltese cross form, struck in a bronze-toned alloy. The obverse features a central oval medallion with the incised letters C, L, and B. The central motif depicts a cross pattee over crossed swords, surmounted by a knight’s helmet. The reverse features a scroll design inscribed with the words CHURCH LADS BRIGADE and a small embossed cross pattee below. The medal is suspended from a blue silk ribbon featuring a white metal clasp with the embossed date 1913. The top suspension bar is a white metal foliate design featuring a central shield with a cross.
