A Set of Twelve Vintage Japanese Gourmet Stainless Steel Tomato Slicer Knives

A set of twelve vintage fixed-blade tomato slicers manufactured by Gourmet. Each knife features a curved blade with a fine serrated edge and a pointed, slightly upturned tip. The blades are constructed from high carbon stainless steel, with the tangs stamped Stainless Steel over High Carbon. A small shield-shaped logo is also present on the tang. The handles are crafted from wood and are each secured with three brass rivets. The set is accompanied by its original plain white cardboard box, bearing the item number 98768 and a Made in Japan stamp. Ten of the knives are housed in their original black card sleeves, which are printed with Gourmet Cutlery, Couteillerie, Posateria, Cuchilleria and Tomato Slicer in multiple languages.
