Lot 24:
Description
An assortment of decorative metalware, primarily comprising copper, brass, and pewter items. The group includes a large repoussé copper wall charger featuring an alpine landscape with chalets, pine trees, and a church spire, finished with a wide scrolled border. A smaller embossed copper plate depicts a woman in traditional dress at a well, inscribed RICORDO DEL MOLISE, indicating origin as a souvenir from the Molise region of Italy. This is accompanied by a small copper ashtray with a matching central well design and three cigarette rests.
The collection further contains a mid-century style copper indoor watering can with a bulbous body and slender brass spout and handle, alongside a small copper pitcher with a brass handle. There are two polished pewter tankards, both with commemorative engravings for an 80th birthday, including the names Nonno and Dad and a date of 17th March 1932. A miniature cast metal character jug depicting a man in a tricorn hat is also included.
The lot is completed by a brass-tone arched accessory, possibly a napkin holder or desk ornament, featuring clear and black bead decoration on a wire. It bears an incised cursive signature Buckte Richard and an adhesive retailer label for CONFETTI BOMBONIERE MARCONI ISERNIA.
