Description
This lot comprises a collection of 11 British ceramic items, primarily focused on Royal commemorative events. The pieces are manufactured from porcelain and fine bone china, featuring transfer-printed designs including text, heraldic crests, and photographic portraits. Most items are finished with gilded rims and decorative accents. The collection includes commemorative mugs and tankards for the Marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer (1981), and the Marriage of Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson (1986), including a two-handled loving cup. Also present are a tankard and mug for the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II (1977), a wavy-edged mug celebrating the 85th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (1985), and a mug featuring a portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Non-royal items include a centenary tankard for Fleetwood’s Charity Junior and Infants Mixed C.E. School, Preesall-Blackpool (1873-1973), and a small mug and bowl with floral transfer decoration.
