A Contemporary Mixed-Media Ceramic and Copper Wire Wall Panel

A contemporary studio ceramic wall panel of square form, constructed from multiple rectangular and square tiles arranged as a border. The central aperture contains a grid of nine circular ceramic medallions. The entire assembly is interconnected and suspended using twisted copper wire. The tiles are crafted from a cream-coloured clay body and feature various impressed and relief decorations, including rope-like swirls, zipper tracks, hexagonal geometric stamps, and abstract organic forms. The decorative palette includes glazes and stains in shades of cobalt blue, manganese pink, and pale yellow. The central medallions are finished with a thick, pooled translucent blue glaze. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible. A British one pound coin is present in the images for scale.
