A mid-20th-century model of a Native American birchbark canoe

A decorative vessel modelled in the form of a traditional Native American canoe with high, upswept prows. The exterior surface is molded with a textured finish simulating birch bark, accented by vertical ribbed bands along the gunwales and prows. The piece is finished in a matte, tonal brown and tan glaze, while the interior is smooth with a similar matte finish.
