A Collection of Dinky Toys and Matchbox Military Vehicles and Equipment

This collection features several vintage military vehicles and pieces of equipment primarily manufactured by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) and Matchbox (Lesney Products). The Dinky Toys selection includes an Austin Champ (model No. 674) in military green with a plastic driver figure, a Saracen Armoured Personnel Carrier (model No. 676) featuring a rotating turret, and a large six-wheeled Dinky Supertoys Recovery Tractor (model No. 661) fitted with a rear crane and winch mechanism. Also present is a Dinky Toys four-wheeled trailer finished in grey with red hubs. The Matchbox items comprise a Superfast Personnel Carrier (No. 54, dated 1976) with a side decal and a Field Gun (No. 32, dated 1977) in olive green and black. Completing the group is a small dark-coloured military jeep marked Made in Hong Kong, constructed from a combination of plastic and die-cast metal. All items feature incised manufacturer marks and model details on their base plates.
