A 20th-century silver-plated circular mirror table plateau

A circular mirrored table plateau or centrepiece featuring a silver-plated metal frame. The frame is designed with a simple stepped rim and is elevated on three out-swept, scroll-form feet. The reverse of the plateau is finished with a black felt backing, which is secured by six metal retaining clips. The felt backing features a central printed mark in white, consisting of intertwined, calligraphic-style lines forming a complex decorative monogram. No hallmarks, date letters, or maker’s marks are visible on the exterior metal frame or feet. Based on the style and the use of a British coin for scale, this item is consistent with 20th-century British decorative tablewares.
