A vintage skill-based board game titled Snakes in the Grass, manufactured by Peter Pan Playthings, London, under licence from Kohner Bros. Inc., New York. The game is dated 1969. The set includes a moulded plastic game unit featuring a green central playing area set into a red base, equipped with four integrated mechanical Turn-O-Matic scorekeeping dials in black, yellow, red, and blue. Accessories comprise four green plastic snake catching rods with red loop ends and a selection of small multi-coloured plastic balls. The game is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box depicting a family at play. The box lid is marked Peter Pan Playthings, London, N.1 and Made in England by Peter Pan Playthings Ltd. under licence from Kohner Bros. Inc. New York, N.Y. U.S.A.
