Description
A mid-century modern style pressed glass vessel in olive green, attributed to Bondware, Japan. The cylindrical form features a prominent textured exterior pattern consisting of two staggered rows of vertical, rounded-rectangular bosses interspersed with smaller circular studs. The item is constructed from thick, transparent glass and has a slightly recessed circular base. Indistinct embossed characters are present on the base. This type of glassware was produced in Japan during the mid-20th century and often resembles Scandinavian designs of the period.
