Three Corgi Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Battle of Britain Model Vehicles D35/1

A set of three die-cast metal model vehicles with plastic components, manufactured by Corgi to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain (1940-1990). The set, reference number D35/1, features vehicles finished in authentic Royal Air Force liveries. The first vehicle is a Bedford Coach in RAF blue-grey with a black roof, featuring Air Passenger Coach side lettering, an RAF roundel, and RAF Private on the destination blind with registration 01 AC 04. The second is a Morris 1000 Van in RAF blue-grey with Royal Air Force and eagle crest markings, an RAF roundel, and registration 48 AM 53. The third is a Ford Zephyr in black with RAF roundels and B/1 markings on the bonnet and boot, small RAF crests on the doors, and registration 17 AB 64. The set includes the original pictorial box and a yellow cardboard internal display tray. A Limited Edition certificate of authenticity is present, identifying this set as number 7340 of a production run of 13,000.
