Dinky Supertoys 982 Pullmore Car Transporter with Bedford Tractor Unit

A Dinky Supertoys 982 Pullmore Car Transporter manufactured by Meccano Ltd in England. This die-cast metal model features a Bedford tractor unit and a detachable articulated trailer with a hinged rear loading ramp for the upper deck. The underside of the tractor unit is embossed with the marks DINKY SUPERTOYS, BEDFORD, MECCANO LTD, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The underside of the trailer is embossed with PULLMORE, CAR TRANSPORTER, 982, and a small numeral 2. Both sides of the trailer display blue transfer lettering stating DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE. The vehicle is fitted with rubber tyres on blue-painted metal hubs.
