Cherilea Toys Kettenkraftrad Military Vehicle

A vintage Cherilea Toys Kettenkraftrad (Kettenkrad) military vehicle, scaled for use with 12-inch action figures. The vehicle is constructed from sand-coloured moulded plastic and is modelled after the WWII German Sd.Kfz. 2. It features a steerable front fork with a black plastic tyre and a tracked rear section with eight road wheels and two black plastic tracks. The rear compartment includes a mounted black plastic machine gun. Applied decals include the German Balkenkreuz, licence plates reading WH-74 26 15, and Deutsche Afrika Korps (DAK) palm tree insignia. The underside of the hull features a moulded manufacturer mark within a shield border reading Cherilea TOYS.
