A Mineral Specimen Diorama of a Miner on a Chalcedony Base

A mineral specimen diorama depicting a mining scene. The piece features a cast metal figure of a miner in a kneeling position, finished in a gold-tone plating, wielding a pickaxe. Beside the figure is a miniature matching wheelbarrow laden with rough green mineral fragments. The components are permanently mounted onto a natural mineral specimen base of translucent green colour, consistent with Chalcedony . Additional small green mineral crystals, possibly emerald or beryl, are scattered around the miner to simulate extracted ore. The underside of the base remains in its raw, unpolished state. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
