Description
A Large framed commemorative art print titled Triple Self-Portrait by Charles Boyer, originally produced in 1985 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disneyland. The artwork is an homage to Norman Rockwell’s 1960 Saturday Evening Post cover, depicting Mickey Mouse seated on a wooden stool as he paints a charcoal-style portrait of Walt Disney. The composition features numerous thematic details including artist’s tools, sketches of Disney, and a Mouseketeer ear hat inscribed with the name Walt. The print bears the printed signature of Charles Boyer and the script Mickey Mouse to the lower right of the depicted canvas. The piece is housed in a dark wood-effect frame with a gold-tone inner slip and a peach-coloured mount under glass.
