Large Octagonal Mahogany-Finished and Gilt Wall Mirror

A large wall mirror of elongated octagonal form, dating from the late 20th century. The substantial moulded wood frame features a mahogany-type finish with a recessed ebonised band and an inner gilded rope-twist slip. The rectangular mirror plate has clipped corners to match the profile of the frame.
