Description
A circular wall clock manufactured by the German firm Kienzle, dating from the mid-20th century. The body is constructed from white glazed ceramic. It features a two-tone dial with a pale blue-grey central section and a white outer border, decorated with twelve applied gilt-metal hour markers in a stylized tapered wedge form. The hands are black-painted metal; the hour hand is distinguished by a large open circular terminal. A small circular aperture is present on the dial at the 4 o’clock position. The reverse of the ceramic casing is impressed with the numbers 476 over 7 and features a green ink stamp 5720. The clock is fitted with a Kienzle 416/50 electro-mechanical battery-operated movement, which includes a regulation scale marked 1 Teilstrich = 10s in 24h. A grey plastic cover embossed with the Kienzle name protects the movement.
Diameter: 25cm.
