Description

A mid-Victorian mahogany dressing table mirror, also known as a toilet mirror, featuring an arched mirror plate held within a mahogany frame. The mirror pivots between two turned and carved upright supports, each surmounted by a bulbous finial. The serpentine-fronted base features a moulded edge and is likely constructed with mahogany veneers, raised upon small bun feet. The reverse is fitted with a secondary softwood backboard with a dark stained finish.
