Description
A late 20th-century twin-pedestal desk or dressing table manufactured by Rose Cabinets. The piece is constructed from solid pine with a light waxed finish, characterised by prominent natural knots throughout the timber. The rectangular top features a low, shaped gallery upstand to the rear. The storage configuration consists of eight drawers in total, with four arranged vertically in each pedestal, flanking a central arched kneehole. Each drawer is fitted with a single turned pine knob handle. The reverse of the piece bears an original paper Rose Cabinets Quality Control Label, which includes handwritten initials in the assembly, sanding, spraying, and final check sections. The back panels are of plywood construction.
