Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace 3D Chess Set by Character Games

A complete 3D chess set manufactured by Character Games, themed after the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. The set comprises 32 moulded plastic figures divided into Light Side and Dark Side factions. The Light Side pieces feature Qui-Gon Jinn as King, Queen Amidala as Queen, Obi-Wan Kenobi as Bishops, Anakin Skywalker as Knights, Jar Jar Binks as Rooks, and eight R2-D2 units as pawns. The Dark Side pieces feature Darth Sidious as King, Darth Maul as Queen, Nute Gunray and Rune Haako as Bishops, Destroyer Droids as Knights, and eight Battle Droids as pawns. The set includes a foldable cardboard game board decorated with a black starfield and red stylized starburst pattern. Accompanying the set is the original Rules for the Game of Chess instruction sheet and a black plastic moulded inner storage tray. The collection is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box featuring Star Wars Episode I branding and Lucasfilm Ltd copyright marks.
