An Alchemy Gothic Pewter Chalice of the Last Judgement Dated 2001

A contemporary decorative chalice manufactured by Alchemy Carta Ltd under the Alchemy Gothic brand, identified as The Chalice of the Last Judgement. The piece is constructed from cast English pewter featuring a combination of polished and antiqued finishes. The bowl displays an etched foliate and scrollwork border to the rim. The hexagonal base is cast in high relief with six panels depicting celestial scenes and Archangels, including Saint Michael. The corners of the base are embellished with small gargoyle heads. The stem consists of twisted rope-style pillars surrounding a central core, leading to a faceted knop inset with square-cut clear and black synthetic crystals. The lower plinth bears the cast inscription THE STANDARD BEARER LEAD THEM INTO THE HOLY LIGHT REVELATION MAY MICHAEL. The underside of the base is marked with the Alchemy Gothic logo, the copyright date 2001, MADE IN ENGLAND, and a circular AL mark.
