A Hudson Fine Pewter Disney 6 Piece Train Set

A set of six miniature Disney character circus train pieces manufactured by Hudson Fine Pewter. The collection is cast in fine pewter with a natural unpainted finish and a dark patina applied to recessed areas to accentuate the cast detail. The set comprises a steam locomotive and a matching caboose, both embossed with WDRR on the side panels in reference to the Walt Disney World Railroad. These are accompanied by four flatbed wagons featuring individual Disney characters: Minnie Mouse in parade attire, Pinocchio playing a drum, Goofy in parade attire, and Dumbo playing a xylophone. Each piece is constructed as a push-along miniature with rotating wheels mounted on metal wire axles. The locomotive and caboose feature apertures to the upper surfaces, identifying the set as a birthday candle holder collection. The underside of the pieces is marked with the following inscriptions: © THE WALT DISNEY CO, FINE PEWTER, U.S.A., and a cursive Hudson signature.
