A Set of The Normandy Landings D-Day 75th Anniversary Commemorative Medallions

This commemorative presentation set was issued in 2019 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Normandy Landings (1944-2019). The item consists of a multi-panel fold-out card folder containing historical text, maps of the landing sectors, a D-Day timeline, and archival photographs credited to the Imperial War Museum. The folder features the official logos of the Royal Navy, the British Army, and the Royal Air Force. The interior is designed with six integrated circular recesses to house commemorative medallions. Currently, five medallions are present, each contained within a clear plastic protective capsule. The medallions are inscribed with the text D-DAY 75 6 JUNE 1944 and feature specific beach names including OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO, and SWORD. One medallion depicts an amphibious landing scene without a specific beach title. The printed panels provide technical data on the assaulting divisions, commanding officers, and the number of men landed at each location.
