Description
A set of six white metal commemorative teaspoons produced for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The spoons feature various figural terminals representing the coronation regalia and symbols of the British monarchy, including the Imperial State Crown, the Sovereign’s Orb, St Edward’s Chair, the Gold State Coach, the Sovereign’s Sceptre with Cross, and a Yeoman Warder. Each spoon is designed with a reeded stem and an oval bowl embossed with the text Silver Jubilee 1952-1977. The collection is housed in a fitted presentation case featuring a blue velvet-lined base and a cream satin-lined lid. No hallmarks are present on the items.
