A Caithness Glass Windfall Apple Paperweight

A Scottish art glass paperweight by Caithness Glass from the Windfall range. The piece is realistically modelled in the form of an apple, featuring a clear glass casing over a mottled pink and red internal core. The core is decorated with controlled air bubble inclusions. The apple is finished with an applied clear glass stem and a textured green glass leaf. The base is sandblast-etched with the marks Caithness, WINDFALL, and Scotland. It also bears a hand-incised alphanumeric mark reading R5623.
