A 20th Century Wrought Iron Slatted Log Cradle

A traditional wrought iron log cradle of slatted U-shaped construction. The hand-forged frame features four scrolled terminals to the upper corners. The structure is supported by two X-frame stands featuring decorative barley-twist uprights and terminating in flattened circular pad feet. The item is finished in black paint. No maker marks are visible on the piece.
