Description
This lot consists of a vintage Talco toolbox manufactured from pressed sheet steel with a metallic blue painted finish. The item features a gabled-lid or hip-roof design, which was a common utility style during the mid-to-late 20th century. The lid is prominently embossed with the Talco maker mark in a stylized block font. Construction includes a full-length piano-style hinge and a central latch loop designed for a padlock. The chest is fitted with dual folding wire handles for transport. The interior contains a single removable lift-out tote tray featuring a central tubular carry handle. Several adhesive paper labels are affixed to the interior surfaces, containing handwritten technical instructions including Clockwise is hole and Anti-clockwise is profile.
