A Collection of Six Assorted Piggy Banks

This collection consists of six ceramic still banks produced in various styles and glazes. The lot includes two examples featuring an all-over embossed daisy pattern, one in a variegated olive-green and brown glaze and a smaller version in a green glaze, both in the style of Wade or similar Staffordshire potteries. Also included is an anthropomorphic seated figure wearing a black bowler hat with a brown glaze, and a reclining figure finished in a two-tone cream and brown drip glaze. The final two pieces comprise a traditional standing pig with a dark mahogany-brown glaze and a stylized cylindrical form with an orange-tan glaze. Each of these piggy banks is constructed from glazed ceramic and features a single passive coin slot. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the bodies of the items.
