Description

A mid-century glazed pottery vase of bulbous form with a flared neck and rim, attributed to Kensington Pottery. The piece features a multi-toned glaze transitioning from a speckled ochre yellow at the neck to a deep olive-green at the base. The shoulder and rim are accented with a thick, textured white drip glaze in the fat lava style. The underside of the base features the embossed marks KP 34 No 3. Additionally, there is a circular ink stamp present, containing a central shield emblem with a rampant lion and the word Pottery.
