Description
A pair of opposing seated King Charles spaniel figures produced in the Staffordshire style. The figures are constructed from glazed earthenware with a white ground and decorated with russet copper-lustre patches. Each dog features moulded fur textures, floppy ears, and hand-painted facial features including eyes, eyebrows, and snouts. They are adorned with moulded collars and chains finished in a dark lustre. The underside of the base displays a moulded model number 7 and a small hand-painted decorator mark in brown pigment.
