A mid-20th-century Bond Ware style musical ceramic decanter titled Punch-Drunk

A mid-20th-century novelty musical ceramic decanter, attributed to the style of Bond Ware. The piece is modelled as a caricature of a punch-drunk hound dog boxer, featuring a swollen face and a white X patch over one eye. The figure is depicted wearing brown boxing gloves and teal trunks. The decanter is constructed from glazed ceramic in shades of brown, tan, and black. It includes a removable head stopper with a cork seal. The base contains a musical movement housed behind a wooden circular panel secured with two screws. The underside features a metal winding key and a metal pull-pin to operate the music. The side of the white circular base is decorated with a treble clef and the title Punch-Drunk on musical staff lines. A white rectangular auction label with the characters 12689 and 16 March 2026 is adhered to the wooden base.
