Description
A trio of framed documents issued by the Victoria College of Music, London, comprising one Diploma of Associate (A.V.C.M.) and two certificates for Examinations in Instrumental and Vocal Music. The Associate diploma is awarded to Shelagh Cook for pianoforte playing and is a Document Signed (DS) by the Principal, J. G. Cooper, Mus. Doc. It features a red serrated seal and lists the college’s foundation patrons, such as the Earl of Cranbrook and the Marquess of Anglesey. The two additional certificates, one of which is dated 1928 for the Honours Division in pianoforte-playing, were issued from the college’s premises at 158 Holland Park Avenue, Royal Borough of Kensington. These music diplomas are printed on paper with decorative borders and crests, and are presented in simple black frames under glass.
