A Pair of Lladró Ceramic Duck Figurines

A pair of Lladró ceramic figurines depicting ducks. One figurine is modelled in an upright standing pose with its head raised, while the companion piece is modelled in a preening posture with its neck curved and its beak tucked into its wing. The figures are finished with a high-gloss glaze in a palette of white and pale grey, with soft yellow-toned beaks and feet. The circular bases feature a subtle pale-blue tint. The base of one figurine bears a blue underglaze stamp consisting of a stylised bell or flower symbol above the characters LLADRO with an accent mark over the O. Below this is the text HAND MADE IN SPAIN and © DAISA 1977. To the right of the stamp are incised characters reading A 20 R. These models correspond to Lladró catalogue numbers 4552 and 4553.
