Lot 436:
Description
This pair of ceramic cup and saucer sets features a rustic, artisan-inspired design finished in a glossy white glaze. Each cup is characterised by an ornate, scrolled handle and a raised fleur-de-lys or foliate motif on the exterior. The matching saucers exhibit a distinctive scalloped edge with beaded detailing along the rim. Both pieces incorporate intentional dark distressing to the relief features and edges, designed to create a weathered, antique appearance. While no manufacturer marks are visible on the exterior surfaces, the design is closely attributed to the Fleur de Lys pattern historically retailed by Anthropologie. These pieces represent a contemporary take on French provincial tableware, blending traditional motifs with a modern shabby-chic aesthetic. Dimensions were not provided.
