Royal Doulton Bedtime HN 1978 Bone China Figurine

A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine titled Bedtime, model number HN 1978. The figure depicts a young child with light brown hair kneeling in prayer, wearing a long white nightgown, set upon a dark rectangular base. The underside of the base bears a green printed Royal Doulton backstamp featuring a crown above a lion and a circular mark containing Royal Doulton England, surrounded by the words Made in England and Bone China. The marks also include the text Royal Doulton, HN 1978, Bedtime, and a facsimile signature for the modeller Leslie Harradine. A copyright mark reads Royal Doulton (UK) 1946. There is a small hand-painted decorator mark in red, a yellow circular sticker, and a white auction label.
