Vintage gilt-metal oval pill box featuring an inset porcelain or enamel plaque after William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s L’Amour et Psyché, enfants. The metal body is decorated with engraved foliate scrollwork and a rope-twist border surrounding the central oval. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the piece.
