A set of four Greek S Special porcelain bird decorated vases with 24 carat gold gilding

S Special porcelain vases, mid-to-late 20th century, Greece. Each piece features polychrome transfer-printed scenes of pheasants among blossoming branches with hand-applied 24 carat gold gilding to the rims and handles. The set of four includes a twin-handled amphora, two globular bud vases, and an ovoid vase with lug handles and a decorative floral band around the neck. Bases are marked with a stylized S, HAND MADE IN GREECE, 24 K GOLD, and a Greek key border above the word SPECIAL.
