The group includes notable titles such as Snicker the Brownie by Enid Blyton (illustrated by Andree Cherille Mayhew, London: Lunn, c. 1947); Sally’s Secret by Shirley Hughes (London: Bodley Head/Picture Lions); Alexander and the Magic Mouse by Martha Sanders (illustrated by Philippe Fix); and Rupert: The Daily Express Annual. Other significant volumes include Mary Plain on Holiday by Gwynedd Rae, Kikeri by Bernadette Watts, Lupinchen by Binette Schroeder, and Puss in Boots illustrated by Svend Otto S. Provenance: Several volumes show evidence of previous ownership, including a library or institutional stamp to the cover of Mr. Silly. No authorial signatures or significant inscriptions are present.
