20th Century Porcelain Hand-Painted Decorative Egg

A 20th-century East Asian decorative egg, likely of porcelain construction, hand-painted in a traditional ink-and-wash style. The decoration depicts a classical landscape featuring mountainous peaks, pine trees, and architectural pavilions, rendered in a palette of black, grey, and green with subtle red highlights. The side of the egg bears a vertical column of calligraphic characters in black ink, which are currently illegible. The egg is mounted upon a tiered ebonised stand and is accompanied by its original presentation box, which is covered in a green and gold foliate patterned paper.
