It is further marked with the pattern name Curzon and a registered number RdNo 697476, with a hand-painted pattern number H1214 in black. The second item is a Thomas (Germany) porcelain mug of cylindrical form with a simple loop handle. It features a Mid-Century Modern style transfer-printed pattern of a grey-toned grid or mesh over a white ground. The base bears an underglaze green mark with the word Thomas above a horizontal line and Germany below.
