Timex Nurse's Fob Watch Reference 16318 02481

A vintage Timex nurse’s lapel or fob watch, attributed to model reference 16318 02481. The watch features a manual wind movement and a white dial printed with black Arabic numerals for 12-hour time and inner red Arabic numerals for 24-hour military time. It is signed TIMEX below the 12 o’clock position. The dial includes luminous-filled hour and minute hands and a red centre sweep seconds hand. The watch is housed in a polished silver-tone base metal case and is suspended from a short curb-link chain attached to a rectangular pin bar for uniform attachment. This style of watch was commonly produced at the Timex facilities in Dundee, Scotland, during the late 20th century. No box, papers, or serial numbers are present.
