A Coalport Bone China Ming Rose Pattern Dish

A small bone china dish manufactured by Coalport in the Ming Rose pattern. The piece is of shallow, circular form with a scalloped edge. The interior features a central polychrome transfer-printed floral spray, dominated by a large red peony-style flower accompanied by yellow blossoms and green foliage. The rim is finished with a gilded band. The base bears a printed blue factory mark comprising a crown symbol above the text BONE CHINA COALPORT MADE IN ENGLAND EST. 1750, with the pattern name Ming Rose in cursive script and a registered trademark symbol.
